LRAM has assessed the wastewater flow projections for the currently unsewered town of Woodgate from the present to 30 years out and assessed the wet weather storage, irrigation area and irrigation management system requirements for the project to meet EPA licensing approval. The project involved population and wastewater flow projection, detailed 100 years daily time step water balance modelling, soil survey, remnant vegetation mapping, the assessment of receiving groundwater values, the assessment of public health issues and the design and layout implications of three possible sites.
LRAM has conducted licence negotiations with relevant government agencies on behalf of Isis Shire Council and has designed an effluent irrigation system for the agreed disposal site.
The company has marked the physical layout of the irrigation farm in the field and installed a series of monitoring bores. LRAM is also responsible preparing specifications and design documents for calling construction tenders as well as compiling a farm and EMP Data Management System.
